Kodi 18 is a new build still in development. It is set to replace the current version of Kodi 17.1 Krypton in the future. In this guide, you can find detailed instructions on how to setup Kodi 18 Leia on your device. Due to the build still being in development mode, there are bound to be bugs.

After release candidates comes a final stable build that becomes Kodi v19 Matrix stable release. In some cases there are additional bugfix releases even after "final", but even those bugfix releases go through their own mini-cycle of testing and are recognised by increasing point version, eg vXX.1, vXX.2 etc. Always backup before using a pre release build. Nightly builds are made on a daily basis and contain the most recent changes. These should be considered unstable for daily usage and should only be used for to help us find possible issues. This time we get to download Kodi 17.5 nightly alpha build. For those that don’t know what a nightly build is; basically it’s a version that is receiving ongoing updates. So, needless to say, the Kodi 17.5 nightly build may not yet be ready for a full public release.
